Anna and the French Kiss is a lovely story about a girl who meets a boy and how their friendship evolves into something more. Of course, this being set in a high school (even if it is in Paris), there's the requisite angst and my-friend-also-likes-the-same-boy drama. Not that it's drowning in angst and drama, because if that were the case I wouldn't have liked it as much as I did.I liked the cast of characters in Anna and the French Kiss, especially Anna. She's bright, funny, and nice. Etienne is witty and charming, and such a romantic. The two make a lovely couple, if only they could just get to the point where they were a couple. Then again, if it was that easy, this would be a novella instead of a heartwarming romantic read.
