I expected The Most Dangerous Thing to be a gripping tale that kept you reading because you just couldn’t bear to wonder what happens next… Instead it’s a story with no clear villain, no clear victim, and no clear path. It meanders between present-day and the past, and jumps from one character’s point of view to another. You’re halfway through the book before you find out what the five did way back when… And almost at the end when you find out what really happened way back when. As a mystery, The Most Dangerous Thing is so-so. As a character study, it fulfills. So maybe I need to figure out genre before I get lost in a book?drey’s rating: Pick it up!
